Three Players In The Top-25 For NT

HOT SPRINGS VILLIAGE, Ark. - Three players are in the top-25 after the opening day for the North Texas women's golf team as they sit in sixth place after two rounds at the UALR Women's Golf Classic. Addison Long, Jacey Chun, and Kelsey Kipp are all in the top-25 as the Mean Green shot a two-round score of 604 and is only eight shots off the lead heading into the final round.

Long is tied for 17th place after scores of 74 and 75 while Chun and Kipp are tied for 24th place after shooting identical scores of 76 and 75 in each round. Long has a 149 after 36 holes while Chun and Kipp are at 151.

Chaslyn Chrismer opened with a 78 but came back with a second round of 75 as she is tied for 38th place. McKenzie Ralson had rounds of 78 and 79 in her first day.

North Texas as a team shot a 304 in the first round and a 300 in the second round for a 604. The Mean Green is only three strokes behind UALR and Middle Tennessee for fourth place, four behind ULM and Tulsa for second, and eight off the clubhouse leader Oral Roberts who shot a 596.

The final round continues tomorrow morning with a shotgun start.
