FORT MYERS, Florida - Jacey Chun shot a tournament low round of 2-under par 70 to lead the North Texas women's golf team in the second round of the 34th Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational.
Chun was flawless on the day with 16 pars and two birdies as she climbed to within three shots of the lead heading into the final round.
North Texas as a team slipped to fourth place after a round of 303 and is 12 strokes back of the clubhouse leader FIU after 36 holes.
Chun is at 3-over par for the tournament with a score of 147. Her round of 70 is tied for the lowest score in the field through two rounds of play. She trails Alex Buelow of Stetson by three shots.
Addison Long is tie for 12th place after a 5-over par 77. Long had two birdies on the day, but four bogeys and a double bogey moved her to 7-over par for the tournament
Kelsey Kipp is at 10-over par while Chaslyn Chrismer and McKenzie Ralston are at 11-over par after two rounds. Kipp shot a second round of 79, while Chrismer had a 77 and Ralston an 80.
