HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark- The North Texas woman's golf team had two players finish in the top-20 of the UALR Women's Golf Classic after the third and final round as the team came in 7th place shooting 303. Addison Long and Kelsey Kipp were the two golfer finishing the highest at 9th and 17th respectively.
Long came into the day tied for 17th, but after shooting a 73 one over-par she climbed all the way into to 9th spot to grab a top-10 finish. Kipp shot an identical 73 but finished two strokes behind Long tied for 17th.
Jacey Chun dropped from 24th place to tied for 37th after a 78 final round, while Chaslyn Chrismer shot a 82 and finished out tied for 62nd.
Freshman McKenzie Ralston shot another 79 for round three just as she did in the second. Ralston finished the tournament in Arkansas tied for 67th
The Mean Green finished ten strokes off the winner UTEP and placed behind two conference opponents in Middle Tennessee and UALR.
The girls have a bit of a break before the conference tournament in Muscle Shoals, AL April 16-18.
