Mean Green women's track and field team competes in the Oklahoma Invitational this Saturday. Hermes captured
second-place in her first penthathlon of the 2013 indoor season at the Iowa
State Classic this past weekend.

2012 Track & Field
Finished
second in the women's heptathlon at the SBC Outdoor Championships with a
personal-best 5056 points ... Topped out at 1.70 meters in high jump for the
season ... Won third-place in the heptathlon at the David Noble/Angelo State
Relays ... Placed fifth in the javelin throw at the TCU Invitational ... Grabbed a
second-place finish in the pentathlon at the SBC Indoor Championships with a
career-best 3656 points.
2011
Registered a seventh-place finish in the pentathlon at the SBC Indoor
Championships with 3,237 points … Finished fifth at the TCU Invitational
in the javelin throw … Took third at the North Texas Open in the 100H
and long jump … Registered a tenth-place finish at the SBC Outdoor
Championships in the heptathlon with 4,108 pts.
2010
Notched a career-high points in the heptathlon at the Sun Belt Outdoor
Championships (4,239) … Cleared a season-high 1.57 meters in the high
jump at the SBC Championships.

Ran cross country and track for coach Don Neu at Lindsay High School ...
Won individual state championships in cross country in 2005 and 2006
and in track in the 1600m (5:14) and 800m (2:08) ... Also participated
in volleyball, basketball and softball ... Selected to the all-state
