NORMAN, Okla. - Mean Green track & field capped off the John Jacobs Invitational on Saturday on the campus of the University of Oklahoma.
The men's 400-meter dash saw four North Texas athletes finish in the top 10.
Senior Darnell Greig took second overall in the event when he crossed the line in 47.09 seconds. That time is good enough for first in the Sun Belt Conference.

Sara Dietz was the lone member of the Mean Green to capture a first place finish when the junior won the 800-meter run. She finished in 2:13.36.
Alysha Adams and Brittani Simmons nabbed a third and fourth place finish in the 100-meter dash.
Adams finished in 11.82 seconds and was the top collegiate finisher while Simmons was just behind her, clocking in at 11.85 seconds.
Freshman Shahaf Bareni claimed a second place finish in the high jump when she cleared the bar at 1.66 meters.
North Texas will be back in action Saturday, April 23, in Waco, Texas, when it heads to the Michael Johnson Invitational on the campus of Baylor University.
