The Mean Green wrapped up the regular season ranked seventh among mid-majors (CollegeSwimming.com), tying the highest poll ranking in program history. North Texas sits behind Denver at fifth place and ahead of Western Kentucky at 19th.
This season, North Texas (6-4) competed against three top 25 nationally ranked opponents and topped cross-town rival TCU for the first time at home. North Texas hosts the Sun Belt Swimming and Diving Championships for the second time in program history at the Rockwall ISD Natatorium. Diving prelims begin at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, February 22. |
