COLLEGE STATION, Texas- In the last meet of the regular season, the Mean Green fell to #6 Texas A&M 186-105.
On the boards, reigning Sun Belt Diver of the Week Catherine Johnson dove her way to a second place finish in the one-meter (270.22) and third in the three-meter (286.58). In the pool, Rosa Gentile paired two second place finishes in the 100 butterfly (55.84) and 200 yard IM (2:09.60). Becca Ploetz recorded one of her season best times at 53.44 in the 100 free.. The team ended the day seizing a victory in the 400 free relay (3:37.66) and taking first through fourth place in the race. The Mean Green end the regular season at 6-4 while the Aggies improve to 5-1. North Texas prepares for the Sun Belt Championships at the Rockwall ISD Natatorium in Rockwall, Texas with diving prelims beginning at 2:30 PM on February 22. |
