SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - The Mean Green Swimming and Diving unit traveled to Puerto Rico this week to participate in a combined team warm-up at the San Juan Natatorium. North Texas participated in an exhibition with the Youngstown State Penguins. The two teams warmed up together and combined the two rosters to do mixed relays. They competed in the 6x50 fly relay, 6x50 back relay, 6x50 breast relay, 6x50 free relay and 6x50 kick relay. The scrimmage was not scored. The Mean Green will host the first official meet of 2013 next Wednesday against Houston and SMU. |
