MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- Jackie Kerestine was named to the All-Sun Belt Tournament team, after posting two shutouts in the Sun Belt Tournament. Kerestine did not allow a goal and made 13 saves during the tournament. "I'm happy for Jackie on being named to the all-conference tournament team," said North Texas Head Coach John Hedlund. "She played a big role for us winning the conference championship and advancing in the conference tournament this season." Kerestine set the North Texas single-season record for Goals Against Average with a mark of 0.71, in only her freshman season. Kerestine finishes the season with a scoreless streak of 314:18, having posted a 0.26 goals against average since Sept. 25. She had nine shutouts on the season. |
