9:17p.m. - That will do it from the Convention Center Court for the Green Gang today. Time to get to work and get ready for tomorrow's semifinal! In a little while, we will post the link for the post game press conference that followed the Mean Green's win. Be on the lookout tomorrow for some new footage with a new toy that North Texas has aquired for video. Here's a hint, it will have something to do with Gumby!
8:38p.m. - Our marketing practitioner Paul Batchelder has informed me that their will be another student bus makings its way to Hot Springs tomorrow morning for the game! If you are a student and would like to be on that bus, it will leave at 11 a.m. from the Fouts Field parking lot near the ROTC building. The bus will return back to Denton following the completion of the game.
8:33p.m. - Well the Mean Green men will move on to face Arkansas State in the SBC Semifinal tomorrow evening after an awesome 65-62 victory over ULL tonight. Brandan Walton came up large for North Texas tonight, netting 16 points, five rebounds and two steals. No points were bigger than his three-pointer with eight seconds to play to put NT on top. What a game! Tomorrow night's game will tip-off at 6 p.m. in Summit Arena
8:24 p.m. - VIDEO Brandan Walton's game-winning shot takes North Texas to a 65-62 quarterfinal win over UL-Lafayette!
7:34p.m. - Midway through the second half here in Hot Springs and it's been very similar to the first stanza. ULL currently leads 47-44.
6:56 p.m. - It's halftime here at the Convention Center Court and the Mean Green lead Louisiana-Lafayette 30-29 at the break. Brandan Walton leads NT scorers with eight points and Tony Mitchell has four rebounds, four blocks and three points.
6:22 p.m. - We're less than four minutes in, but Tony Mitchell looks like a man posessed on defense. He already has three thunderous rejections on ULL shooters.
6:16 p.m. - It's gametime in Hot Springs, Ark., for Mean Green men's basketball. NT starting five consits of Tony Mitchell, Alzee Williams, Brandan Walton, Roger Franklins and Jacob Holmen
5:53 p.m. - We're inside 12 minutes to go on the pregame clock. Both teams are going through their final preparations and warmups before the action starts. Freshman sensation Tony Mitchell will receive his Freshman of the Year plaque and First-Team All-Sun Belt Award from Comissioner Wright Waters before the game.
5:36 p.m. - VIDEO Coach Jones just recorded his pregame interview with George Dunham of the Mean Green Radio Network.
5:19 p.m. - With back-to-back men's and women's games, there isn't much downtime this evening. The Mean Green men are already out and being conducted through their stretch routine by strength coach Chris Seroka. North Texas will be in black uniforms this evening.
5:05 p.m. - VIDEO At the Alumni Breakfast this morning, Hank Dickenson caught up with Thomas Hill, a Dallas product who played college basketball at Duke and is remembered for this famous image after Christian Laettner made a last second shot to beat Kentucky in the 1998 NCAA tournament.
4:57 p.m. - The Mean Green drop a heartbreaker to FAU, 56-55. North Texas led the entire game until FAU rolled in a layup with 1.8 seconds remaining to win. Next up is the Mean Green men's quarterfinal matchup with No. 4 seed Louisiana-Lafayette. Tip-off is set for 6:15 p.m. at the Convention Center Court.
4:50 p.m. - VIDEO A few highlights of the women's game vs. FAU.
4:17 p.m. - We're currently in the last media timeout and the Mean Green lead the Owls by a slim 49-47 margin. With her 12 points already tonight, Laura McCoy has ensured that she scored in double-figures in every SBC Tournament game that she's played in.
4:02 p.m. - We're almost halfway through the second half and FAU is staging a comeback. The Mean Green lead the Owls 44-34 with 11:25 to play.
3:32 p.m. - Halftime here at the Convention Center Court. The Mean Green lead FAU 33-15 at the break. Laura McCoy moved into seventh on the single-season three-pointers list with her three this afternoon thus far. McCoy leads all scorers in the game with nine.
3:12 p.m. - North Texas uses a 16-2 run over just under 10 minutes of play to pull even further away from the Owls. Current lead is now 24-8 with 6:57 to play in the first half.
3:00 p.m. - The Mean Green women have made a habit of fast starts so far in this tournament, jumping out to a 17-6 lead over FAU with 11:22 to go in the half. Kasondra Foreman has seven points thus far.

2:44 p.m. - The women's quarterfinal game is about to tip off, and the crowd is all Mean Green! We estimate that the crowd is 10-to-1 in favor of North Texas. You be the judge!
2:38 p.m. - A bus full of students just rolled into the Convention Center Court stands! The students hopped on a charter bus this morning in Denton and will return home after tonight's men's game.
2:35 p.m. - VIDEO Ever wanted to be the drummer for the pep band and play the North Texas fight song?
2:27 p.m. - T-minus 12 minutes until tip-off of the game. A win here would put Mean Green women's basketball into it's first Sun Belt Conference Semifinal since 2002 and give North Texas its first win over FAU since 2008. Remember, the Mean Green men beat FAU on this exact court in the quarterfinals last season!
2:09 p.m. - FIU just beat West No. 2 seed Denver and the Convention Center Court is clear for warmups to begin for the North Texas vs. FAU game! 2:45 p.m. will be the official start time.

1:22 p.m. - The North Texas women's basketball team is in the building! We're just over an hour and fifteen minutes out of the scheduled start time for their game. There's currently 15 mins left in the Denver vs FIU game on the Convention Center Court.
1:06 p.m. - Under two hours until Mean Green women's basketball's quarterfinal matchup against Florida Atlantic. The team is on its way to the Convention Center Court to begin preparations.
12:32 p.m. - VIDEO This morning was the annual Sun Belt Alumni Breakfast. Hank Dickenson caught up with some Mean Green fans and alums, including Harry Meirs, Jim Grandy, C. Dan and Le'Nore Smith, Athletic Director Rick Villarreal, and President Rawlins. Hank also ran into Scott Farmer, the Athletic Director at Louisiana-Lafayette, and asked for his thoughts on tonight's men's basketball matchup between the Mean Green and the Cajuns. Also at the breakfast this morning was a former NCAA basketball player from the Dallas area who is now working in the Sun Belt Conference office. Hank's interview with him will be posted this afternoon between the women's and men's games.
12:06 p.m. - We're posted up in our spot on press row on the Convention Center Court for the remainder of the afternoon and FIU is about to take on Denver in the first women's game of the afternoon. These two teams are on the opposite side of the bracket as the North Texas women and the winner of this game will take on the winner of Middle Tennessee and Western Kenutcky. The winner of the North Texas vs FAU game this afternoon will square off with the victor of the South Alabama vs UALR matchup.

11:35 a.m. - VIDEO North Texas' Hank Dickenson had a chance to catch up with Louisiana-Lafayette head coach Bob Marlin yesterday. The Mean Green men take on ULL at 6:15 p.m.
11:27 a.m. - The Green Gang is back in the arena and getting ready for both games today. We can tell you that the women's basketball send off will be at 12:40 at the Clarion on the Lake. Their game starts at 2:45 p.m.on the Convention Center Court. We're also working on getting some more video content up for you as we speak. The internet is cooperating with us, just at a slow pace this morning.

8:19 a.m. - Good morning Mean Green nation! It's another beautiful day in Hot Springs, Ark., and man do we have a full day of coverage for you. It's currently 37 degrees in the Spa City with a predicited high of 69. The Mean Green has two games this afternoon. First, the women will take on the East No. 2 seed FAU at 2:45 p.m. on the Convention Center Court. The men will follow that game with their first SBC Tournament game against No. 4 seed Louisiana-Lafayette at 6:15 p.m. on the same court!
