This former Sun Belt Player of the Week was a constant presence at outside hitter since 2007, racking up over 600 kills and 350 digs in her career. She led NT with over 300 kills in 2008, and has at least 125 kills in each of the last 3 years.
The program's prime offensive weapon, and one of the Sun Belt's most feared player, she ranks fourth in NT history with almost 1,300 kills, and ranks second in the league in 2010. Only two players in school history have attempted more attacks than this 5-time All-Tournament team honoree.
Despite playing just the 2010 season with the Mean Green, this defensive specialist racked up 250 digs and posted a .953 reception percentage this year. The former South Florida standout got a pair of starts at libero, and even piled up 28 digs against UT Arlington, which is the second most by an NT player this year.
This 2010 Sun Belt Sporting Behavior Award winner for her leadership both on and off the court, this outside hitter racked up over 600 career kills as one of NT's most versatile players. A great blocking presence on top of her hitting ability, she racked up nearly 160 total blocks in her four years.
North Texas volleyball will also pay tribute to former Mean Green coaching great, Donna Martin. Coach Martin led the Mean Green to the 1995 Southland Conference title, and the program's first and only NCAA Tournament berth, and complied 81 wins in her 9 seasons in Denton. North Texas head coach Ken Murczek will present coach Martin with a banner commemorating the greatest season in school history.
