DENTON, Texas (8/23/12) - North Texas students are invited to come out to Apogee Stadium on Monday, Aug. 27 from 6-8 p.m. to get ready for the football season at our Student Spirit Night. Come out and see Head Coach Dan McCarney and the entire Mean Green Football team as they get you excited about the final season in the Sun Belt Conference. Students will have a chance to catch punts from Mean Green kickers and try to catch passes from our Mean Green Quarterbacks. Prizes will be given away throughout the night. The Green Brigade Marching band will be there as well as the North Texas Cheerleaders, Dancers and Scrappy. There will be free food from local Denton vendors Papa John's, Sweetwater, Chicken Express, Buffalo Wild Wings, Kolache Haven, Carino's Itilian, Palios Pizza, Jason's Deli, Little Ceasar's, and Mellow Mushroom. The entrance is located on the east side of the stadium at the student entrance. The gates will not open until 6 pm. Bring your friends and show your school spirit. Go Mean Green! |
