Friday Night On The Hill Mean Green Friday night pep rallies are held on the hill just east side of Apogee Stadium. Fans are encouraged to come out early and save their spot for tailgating for the game the following day. The night will be filled with live bands, DJs, competitions, free food, give-a-ways and apperances by athletes, coaches, cheerleaders, dancers, America's best marching band the Green Brigade and Scrappy the Mean Green mascot. So start pulling together your tents, couches, coolers and grills and gear up! These events are open to the public. The 2011 Friday Night on the Hill schedule: September 9th - Live music by Identity Theft September 23rd - Live music by Manic Bloom October 7th - Live music by Philip 7 Don't forget to get your tickets for the game and be apart of the Mean Green. North Texas is experiencing an unforgetable time in our history that you and your family will not want to miss! Student admission is free with their UNT student ID. Students can pick up their tickets early to reserve their seats at home games. Tickets can be picked up at the North Texas Ticket office starting on Monday of home game weeks. The ticket office is located at Gate 2 of Apogee Stadium and is open from 9 am - 6 pm for student ticket pick up.
