Spring 2010 Football Walk On Requirements

Meeting:

 Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 3:00 PM

Football Team Meeting Room - Athletic Center

The following must be completed and brought to the meeting at 3:00 PM on Wednesday February 10, 2010 in the football team meeting room located on the first floor of the North Texas Athletics Center.

1.     You must print a copy of your current class schedule.  Bring a copy with you to the meeting.  NOTE: -You must be enrolled fulltime at UNT for the Spring 2010 semester. Fulltime is considered 12 hours.

-You must have a UNT GPA of a minimum  2.25 to be considered as a  potential walk on. All walk on student athletes must maintain a 2.25 UNT GPA to stay on team. 

2.     You must have filled out the insurance packet and have a current copy front and back of your insurance company's card accompanied by a physical that is not older than 6 months (NCAA rule)

-There are two ways to get the insurance packet

          #1 You can go online at meangreensports.com then click athletics  

                then click sports medicine then click new student-athlete packet

                and print the packet. (fill out in pen prior to meeting)

          #2 You can stop by our training room located on the first floor below the football offices here at the North Texas Athletics Center and pick one up.

Make sure you follow these steps closely and have all the above items taken care of prior to the meeting on Wednesday February 10, 2010.  No one will be allowed to participate in the meeting that day if the requirements are not met. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Check list for the meeting:

1.     Current copy of class schedule

2.     Insurance packet filled out complete!

3.     A front and back copy of your insurance card

4.     Copy of physical within the last 6 months.
