NT Diving Takes 2nd And 3rd in the 1 & 3 mtr |

SOUTHLAKE, Texas - North Texas diving visited Southlake for the Tiger Southwest Shootout hosted by Trinity University. In the two-day event, the Mean Green concluded day 1 with a 2nd and 3rd place finish in the 1 meter dive. Senior Delia Covo took 2nd with a score of 278.40, a mere .5 behind the winner, Trinity University's Ruth Hahn. Jurnior Rebecca Taylor rounded out the top three with a mark of 261.35 once the dust had settled in Southlake. The 3 meter dive resulted in the exact same top three with NT placing 2nd and 3rd. Covo and Taylor took the respective cake during the second go round off the high dive. Covo scored a 267.1 while Taylor turned in a 259.10 performance. NT swimming rejoins diving at the next event, the UIW Invitational in San Antonio, Texas, on Dec. 15. Tiger Shootout results attached. |
