DENTON, Texas - Collegeswimming.com, a major publication for national collegiate swimming and diving news and recruiting information, ranked North Texas 10th in the nation among mid-majors.

The ranking is based on a point scale that takes strength of schedule and winning percentages into account to rank the top programs. North Texas received 225.09 points putting it right behind conference rival Western Kentucky.

NT swimming and diving has had a successful start to the season falling only once in dual play to Rice on the final relay. The Mean Green also came in 2nd in the Arkansas Relays out of five teams, a meet that boasted some impressive programs including Vanderbilt and SMU.
