MOBILE, Ala. - The Mean Green soccer team kicks off the Sun Belt Conference tournament at the University of South Alabama at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning. Top-seeded NT will face Florida Atlantic, a crew the Mean Green beat on Oct. 5 by a score of 2-1. The seeds for the tournament are: 1) Your North Texas Mean Green 2) Middle Tennessee 3) FIU 4) Western Kentucky 5) Arkansas State 6) Troy 7) USA 8) Florida Atlantic Having just won its second consecutive conference championship, the Mean Green is poised to make a run in a tournament it has captured twice in the program's history (2004, 2005).
