Cazaubon Named Sun Belt Golfer Of The Month

DENTON, Texas - Senior Rodolfo Cazaubon was named the Sun Belt Conference Golfer of the Month today after his hot start to the season. Cazaubon won his first career tournament as he captured a share of the 2012 Graeme McDowell Shoal Creek Invitational with a 6-under par score of 210.

In three tournaments in the fall, Cazaubon has finished in the top-20 in all three, including his win at Shoal Creek.

At the Inverness Invite, Cazaubon finished tied for 11^th place, and in 18^th place at the season opening tournament, the Gopher Invite. The Tampico, Mexico native has shot two rounds of 68 in three tournaments and been the clubhouse leader after two rounds in two tournaments.

Cazaubon and the Mean Green will complete their fall portion of the schedule on Oct. 14-16 at the Lone Star Invitational in San Antonio, Texas. North Texas, the defending Sun Belt Conference Champions, opens its spring schedule on Feb. 11-12 at the Oak Hills Invitational.
