The Mean Green Club raises funds for North Texas athletic scholarships. As tuition costs continue to rise, the need for increasing membership rises as well. Donations to the Mean Green Club help support nearly 350 North Texas student-athletes each year, and provide them with the best collegiate experience possible. As we continue to progress as a department, growth in the Mean Green Club is vital.

The University of North Texas is an institution dedicated to greatness in all areas, and athletics is no exception. Since 2000, the Mean Green has won 16 championships in the Sun Belt Conference. This success is a direct reflection of the commitment of coaches, administration, alumni, fans, and most importantly, our student-athletes.


Members of the Mean Green Club received exclusive access to North Texas Athletics.  As part of the Mean Green Club you enjoy year long benefits such as invitations to member-only events, the best parking and seating available, and so much more. Mean Green Club membership and season ticket purchases also increase your priority points.  Priority Points are awarded for donations, consecutive season ticket purchases, and longevity of membership within the Mean Green Club. Priority Points will be the primary factor in the seat selection process at the New Football Stadium at Mean Green Village.

Junior Mean Green Club

 The Junior Mean Green Club is for children up to age 15. Members get access to the Fun Zone at football and basketball games, a t-shirt, photo and autograph opportunities with Scrappy, football and basketball buddies and so much more!  Beth Marie's Ice Cream also provides special discounts for JMGC Members.
