Named for the former standout Mean Green running back, Terry Don Parks, the Hall of Fame captures the greatest moments and memories in North Texas history. The hall features a section on NCAA statistical champions, retired football numbers as well as capsules on some of the greatest moments and teams in school history. One of the most versatile players of his era, T.D. Parks set himself apart in the Missouri Valley Conference as a punishing running back, hawk-like defensive back, stellar kick returner and outstanding receiver. The front entrance to the North Texas Athletic Center opens to the Terry Don Parks Hall of Fame. Panels of pictures line the wall going up the staircase to the second floor. Hallways throughout the athletic center showcase other memories in North Texas history. |
