The period for renewal of North Texas football season tickets has begun, and fans can renew their tickets for the 2013 season by mail, online or by phone. Renewal information has been mailed to ticket holders.
This season marks the Mean Green's entry into Conference USA as well as the 100th anniversary of the North Texas football program, which played its first game in 1913.
The Mean Green has six home games this year, including three home games against schools from Texas - the first time that has happened since 1994. North Texas will also open the season with a home game for the first time since 2001, on Aug. 31 at Apogee Stadium against Idaho, the first meeting with the Vandals since the two teams met as Sun Belt Conference opponents in 2004.
The home schedule also features dates with Ball State (Sept. 14), Middle Tennessee (Oct. 12), Rice (Oct. 31), UTEP (Nov. 9) and UTSA (Nov. 23).
In addition to getting prime seats for Mean Green football games at Apogee Stadium, owning season tickets brings other benefits:
Priority parking in the lots around Apogee Stadium.
Priority opportunity to pre-order additional single game tickets and road-game tickets, including bowl games.
Priority opportunity to upgrade seat locations before each season.
Mean Green Club donation may be tax deductible (contact your tax advisor).
