DENTON, Texas - Fresh off its first win of the season, the North Texas men's golf team has moved into the top-25 rankings for the first time since 2010. The Mean Green is ranked 25th in the country by the latest golfstat.com rankings after capturing the Argent Financial Classic.

In the win North Texas defeated No. 14 LSU and Rodolfo Cazaubon captured his third individual title of the season. It was the second win over a top-25 team this season for North Texas and the first over a top-15 team this year.

Cazaubon climbed into the top-20 individually with the win. He is now ranked No. 17 in the nation after shooting 9-under par to capture the medalist crown. Cazaubon has three wins on the season and has finished either first or second in four of the last five tournaments.

It is the highest ranking for North Texas this late in the season since the modern ranking system started in 1998.

North Texas is back in action this weekend at The Schenkel Invitational March 15-17.
