DENTON, Texas - North Texas swimming and diving will host a meet Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. that will include SMU and Houston. It will be the first meet of 2013 for the upstart NT squad that has broken several school records this season. The Mean Green is coming off a trip to Puerto Rico where they trained diligently through hikes and kayaking. They also did a heavy amount of swim training and worked with Youngstown State. NT and SMU already met once this swimming season at the Razorback Relays. The Mean Green came in second to Arkansas in that meet while SMU finished third right behind North Texas. The swimming portion of the meet starts on schedule at 2:30 p.m. at the Recreation Center while the diving portion of the meet will take place at 4 p.m. at the PEB. |
