Nearly 300 Kids Participate In Hoops Clinic |

DENTON, Texas - Nearly 300 kids of all ages joined the Mean Green basketball team for top flight instruction at the annual North Texas Basketball Free Youth Clinic on Saturday. The players and coaches ran through a variety of drills with the kids, and gave the participants an opportunity to learn skills and practice techniques that NT uses each day. On top of the drills, each participant received a free t-shirt as well as a ticket to a future Mean Green basketball game. The Mean Green practiced after the clinic, which gave all of the participants the ability to see North Texas use the skills they learned in action. North Texas returns to the court on Sunday against Southeastern Louisiana at 1 p.m., and will also face Lehigh next Thursday. Both of those games will take place at the Super Pit. |
