DENTON, Texas - North Texas swimming and diving hits the road for a meet in San Antonio, Texas, at the UIW Invitational beginning this Saturday at the Aquatic Center at Palo Alto College.

The meet will take place from December 15-17 and have a preliminaries to finals structure each day with the prelims starting early and the finals taking place during the afternoon. The teams included in the meet are NT, TCU, Rice, Missouri State and Incarnate Word, the host university.

The meet will include 1 meter, 3 meter and platform diving. As for the swimming portion, teams will be allowed to enter more than one relay but blocks A and B will be the only ones scored.

NT has already met both Rice and Missouri State this season. The Mean Green defeated Missouri State by means of placing second in the Arkansas Relays, a meet that Missouri State placed fourth in.

North Texas' last meeting with Rice was earlier this season during the beginning of November in Denton, Texas, a battle that came down to the final seconds with the Owls coming out on top, 150-144.

The Mean Green met TCU last season in what was a dominating performance at home for the North Texas, a 132-11 victory. North Texas has also never dropped a match against Incarnate. It sports a 4-0 series record with the Cardinals.
