Jess Jobe begins his first year as an assistant coach with the Mean Green. He will work primarily with the goalkeepers.

Jobe comes to North Texas from Fontbonne University in St. Louis where he served as an assistant coach in the fall semester of 2009 while completing his degree. He received a Bachelors degree in Sports Management in 2009.

In addition to his duties at North Texas, Jobe also coaches goalkeepers for the North Texas Olympic Development Program (ODP) Girl's State Teams under Gary Williamson. He attained a United States Soccer Federation 'D' Coaching License in the summer of 2009.

While attending Fontbonne, Jobe lettered in three varsity sports (soccer, basketball, golf). In soccer he earned first-team All-SLIAC honors twice and first-team All-SLIAC-Tournament honors three times. Jobe helped Fontbonne win two SLIAC Conference Titles (2006 and 2008) and was team captain his senior year.

Jobe is a Denton High School graduate where he played soccer and earned first-team all-district honors twice and was named the district's Goalkeeper of the Year his junior season. After graduation Jobe went on to play at Georgia Southern University before transferring to Fontbonne.
