Ranked as one of Houston's top-100 recruits by the Houston Chronicle.... Dave Campbell's Texas Football named Davis one of the top-25 defensive backs in the state....VYPE Magazine named Davis to the Greater Houston Area Top-100...Had 42 tackles six interceptions and five passes broken up as a senior....As a junior, Davis had 35 tackles and 10 passes broke up and was a unanimous first-team all-district player...A multi-sport star, Davis was a member of the 4X200 relay team that finished third in the state and had the nation's fourth fastest time.
