DALLAS- The Mean Green Club Coaches Caravan continued Thursday night at the Hilton Dallas Lincoln Center as head coaches Tony Benford, John Hedlund, Mike Petersen and Dan McCarney talked about their programs, and the historic move to C-USA.

This stop reached out to Dallas-area alumni, fans and donors as the coaches tour the Metroplex to talk about the upcoming season and the move to C-USA.

New men's basketball coach Tony Benford and new head women's basketball coach Mike Petersen were engaging with donors and engaged the crowd with the new philosophies they bring to Mean Green basketball.

Head soccer coach John Hedlund encapsulated the journey his program has taken en route to winning six conference titles and presented the ring for the most-recent title to Rick Villarreal. Head football coach Dan McCarney closed the event with a passionate speech that was well-received by the gathering of alumni, fans and donors.

The two upcoming tour stops will feature family-friendly activities with special guests including Scrappy, and members of the cheer and dance teams. The events are FREE and open to the public. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided, and a cash bar will be available.The tour schedule is listed below.
