2012: Battled through injuries throughout the 2012 season, playing in eight games and making six starts on the defensive line….He notched 10 tackles and 1.5 tackles for a loss on the year….Had a season-high four tackles against MTSU….Recorded a tackle for a loss in the win over Texas Southern.   

2011: Started all 12 games last season … Set career high in total tackles with 28 … Tallied 1.5 sacks for 12 yards … Had 2.5 tackles for a loss for 16 yards … Sacked ULM’s quarterback for an 8-yard loss … Registered a half-sack for a four-yard loss and three tackles against FAU … Haulted Indiana’s offense with two unassisted tackles  … Made two assisted tackles against Alabama … Racked up four tackles against Houston, with one of them being for a four-yard loss.

2010: Played in six games.

High School/Personal:  Was the 2008 Waco Tribune Herald Super Centex Defensive MVP and named the District 17-3A Defensive MVP … In 2010 Boutwell was named to the Waco Tribune Super Centex All-Decade first-team..... Was a two-time first-team all-district selection and a two-time first-team all-district academic pick in 2007 and 2008 … Named first-team all-state in 2008 as he recorded a school record 10 sacks, 21 tackles for loss, and 94 overall tackles … Boutwell attended the U.S. Army All-American combine as a junior....Was a second-team all-state pick in 2007 as a defensive end … Was named Honorable Mention in District 17-3A as an offensive tackle in 2006 … A multi-sport star, was a two-time state qualifier in 2007 and 2008 in the discus and a 2009 state qualifier in the shot put … Son of Jeff and Cecilia Boutwell … Born on February 27, 1991.
