DES MOINES, Iowa - North Texas track star Steven White went up against some of the best in the nation and ran his onto the World Junior Championship team at the U.S. National Championship. White ran a person best time of 51.19 in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing second in the event, and earning a spot onto the team.

DES MOINES, Iowa - North Texas sprinters Steven White and Alysha Adams both advanced in their opening days at the US National Outdoor Track and Field Championship. White, running in the 400-meter hurdles, ran the best time in the preliminaries of the 22 entries at 52.05 and he advances to the finals tomorrow afternoon.
