Willey Named SBC Defensive Player of the Week
Defensive Specialist Recognized After Stellar Weekend
DENTON, Texas - North Texas volleyball defensive specialist Sarah Willey was named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts at the Bulldog Invitational over the weekend. The award is the first for Willey, who leads NT with 113 digs so far this season. The last North Texas player to earn a Sun Belt Player of the Week honor was Roxana Casvean on Oct. 20, 2008.
